(III) Elizabeth, daughter of Colonel Benjamin Church, was born March 26th, 1684 died in 1739. She married (first) in 1700, Captain Joseph Rosbotham of Bristol, Rhode Island. She married (second) September 11, 1717 John Sampson, of Bristol, and he died January 12, 1734. She married (third) June 18, 1739 Captain Samuel Woodbury.

There appears to be two Elizabeth Church's with the same parents. The first was born about 1665, and the second was born on March 26, 1684. The first Elizabeth Church married William Little, Sr. in 1680, and they moved to Virginia. Four years later, in 1684, Benjamin Church and Alice Southworth had another daughter whom they named Elizabeth, also.
