Mrs. Martha B. Edwards

Mrs. Martha B. Edwards, 92, of Charles Street, a member of New Hope United Methodist Church since 1918, and a former nurse's aide at Riverside Nursing Home, died Saturday at Mary Washington Hospital.

She was born in Stafford and was the wife of the late Henry W. Edwards.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Agnes E. Skinner of Port Royal, Mrs. Maude C. Meade of Falls Church and Mrs. Dorothy E. Monroe of Stafford; a son Ralph L. Edwards of Stafford; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Virginia E. Stevens of Stafford; two sisters, Mrs. Sara B. Edwards of Manassas and Mrs. Eva B. Halslip of Woodbridge; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. R. Ernest Babel officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Skinner, Eddie Skinner, Donald Skinner, Wayne Lewis, August Demma, Neil Layman, James Edwards and Charles Roberson.

The family will receive friends from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. today at Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home.
