Her maiden name was Fleming (on the widows pension application), "Flaming" in the Putnam County court record. Clerk of court was S. Grimki (Stanislaus Grinski married Mary C. Dunham on January 14, 1855 in Marion County, Florida).
She married William H. Mason in 1854, had been living in Florida since 1852, from South Carolina.

(The link above is for my ancestress, Martha Matilda Mason. The one following (below) is to the pension applications filed by W. "W." Mason and his widow, Martha "A." Mason. The latter couple lived in Belleview, and are not directly related to me. The filing of their pensions however, created bureaucratic confusion enough to cause my 3rd g-grandmother to be denied benefits even after she had already received them for two years. It took quite a lot of time and effort to straighten out the misunderstanding.)
