Sister Green was one of the number composing the First Seventh-day Baptist Church at its organization, and without faltering maintained her Christian course until by death she was removed to the "land of rest." Although sister Green bore some of life's weightier burdens, yet she never lost confidence in God nor remitted her faithful service in his cause and has therefore gone to the grave, leaving behind her the sweet odor of a good name.
