relict of Capt. Samuel Terry
in the 77th year of her age

Daughter of Samuel Boreman from Oxfordshire, England and Mary Betts, granddaughter of Christopher Boreman and Juliane Carter.

Martha was the second wife of Benjamin Crane Jr, the son of Benjamin Crane Sr and Mary Backus. They were married in 1690, and had no issue before Benjamin died in June of 1693.

Secondly, Martha became the second wife of Captain Samuel Terry Jr, the son of Samuel Terry Sr and Anna Lobdell. They were married 04 Jan 1698 in Wethersfield, Hartford, CT, and had the following children:

• Ephraim 1701-1783
• Jacob 1703-1770
• Martha 1705-1706
• Jonathan 1707-1793
• Isaac 1713-1782

On the day Martha died she was 76 years old, and Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of her Age) 77.
