Biography
Martha COPP was born about 1630 in Hatton, Warwickshire, England, daughter of William and Ann Rogers Copp. She married abt 1650 William Harvey of Boston (as distinct from William Harvey of Taunton). He was born in 1620 +/- at Ashill, Somerset, England, a son of Thomas and Joan Collis Harvey. by him had children William, Thomas, John and Mary, recorded in the Boston records. He died on 15 August 1658 at Boston, Massachusetts.
She was executor of her husband Harvey's estate in 1658. Martha first married, in 1651 at Boston, William Harvey Martha married, as her second husband, on 10 Nov. 1659 at Boston, Ma, Henery Tewksbury by whom she had at least two sons.
She possibly died 12 January 1730 at Amesbury, Massachusetts.

Martha Copp Harvey Tewskbury : "The facts in the case are these: In 1650 there was residing in Boston a certain William Harvey, who was married in that year to Martha Copp, daughter of William Copp, of Boston, cordwainer. They became the parents of four children: i.: William, b. 27 Aug., 1651; ii. Thomas, b. 16 Aug., 1652; iii. John, b. 5 Feb., 1654; iv. Mary, b. 1656 or '7. In 1654 the first three of these children were baptized in Boston. [See "Report of the Record Comsrs. of Boston," pp. 46 and 49] : William the father died 15 Aug., 1658.
