Martha is left money in the 1582 will of her father Oliver St John, BUT she is called Martha CHEYNEY [not Chesney]

Martha St. John died after 1604. She was the eldest daughter of Oliver St. John 1st Baron St. John of Bletso (Bef 1522-1582) and Agnes Fisher (1522-Bef 1572).

Martha married Sir Richard Chesney, son of William Chesney and Margaret, on 23 Jun 1579 in East Hoathly Parish Church, Church Marks Lane, East Hoathly, Lewes, East Sussex, BN8 6EG, GB.1 (Sir Richard Chesney died between 1585 and 1590 2.)

Martha next married James Colbrand, son of Thomas Colbrand and Alice Michell, about 1590. (James Colbrand was born before 1544, died on 21 Oct 1600 and was buried in St. Peter-the-Great's Church [pre-1852: within Chichester Cathedral], West Street, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 1PX, GB.)

Martha next married George Wyngate, son of Edmond Wyngate and Elizabeth Astry, after 1600. (George Wyngate died between 23 Oct 1604 and 26 Oct 1604 in Leighton Buzzard, Befordshire, LU7, GB.)
