Arhiv Note:
Friderik Fernando and Maria Sustersic were foundlings who apparently lived with the Gercman's at Leskovec #12. In the area of Visnja Gora, a lot of children who were either foundlings or whose mothers could not care for them, were raised as foster children by families. Famaialaies who took children in received support for them until their 8th birthday. Many of these foster children came from Ljubljana or Trieste. Some were reclaimed by their mothers though quite a lot died as infants.
