Marvin Baker, 85, of Wynne, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Crestpark Nursing Home.

Marvin was born in Vanndale, Arkansas on April 21, 1928.

He was a self-employed carpenter and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Vanndale Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Baker and Lillie Mae Miller Baker and two sons, Danny Baker and Terry Baker.

Survived by his daughter, Brenda Sue Joy of Pangburn; and Debra Kay Young of Wynne; brothers, Melvin Baker of Bradford; James Baker of Chattanooga; sisters, Rubye Hodges of Cherry Valley; Hazel Evans of Van Buren; Wilma Butler of Georgia; Fay English of Wynne; Glenda Yates of Wynne.

Services were held at Kernodle Funeral Home. Burial was in Vanndale Cemetery. Jonesboro Sun, May 2, 2013.
