Mary ABEL was born c1755

Mary was convicted of stealing clothing and was sentenced to 7 years transportation. She arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Lady Penrhyn"

Mary had a relationship with Thomas TILLEY (they married 4/5/1788 Sydney Cove)and they had the following children

Sentenced on 3.5.1785 in Worcester to transportation for seven years for stealing hempen cloth, table cloths and clothing etc. Aged about 30 she had been in service. Held in Worcester goal till 11.25.1786. She was already pregnant when ordered to Southwark goal in London to be embarked on the Lady Penrhyn at Gravesend on 1.31.1787.
