Mary Jane Almon, 90, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 9:07 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on April 15, 1924 in Crofton, KY to the late Odie Pearl Henderson and David Ellison. She was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Almon; her sister, Martha Furgerson; and two brothers, Lovelace and Tom Knight.

She is survived by her son, William David Almon of Madisonville; her daughter, Beverly (Tommy) Burbage of Nebo; a brother, John (Sue) Knight of Madisonville; three grandchildren, Terry Almon, John Shelton, and Greg Burbage; four great grandchildren Bethany Burbage, Kimberly Burbage, Ava Jo Shelton and Millie Kate Shelton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Dr. Bob Morrison officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville, Ky.
