Born Madeline Juanita Fernandez to John and Mary Fernandez of Pearl City. Madeline fell inlove with John Kawaianiani McCandless at a very early age 17 yrs old she and John Married in the year 1911 they had a daughter in October of the year 1912 and had a still birth little Boy John Kawaianiani born eighth of October 1914 . Gramma told my two brothers and me when we were children of her lose of her first son with Grampa McCandless. We were very sad to hear of the loss they both had experinced.after 3 more children they divorced.
Madeline Juanita Fernandes than married Appianni Colburn son of John Francis Colburn and Julia Naoho Daughter of Elias Naoho of Maui.
