! GRANDMOTHER; BIRTH-MARRIAGE records supplied by Mary herself before she died. Grandmother herself stated that she was married when she was 15 years old, and that she and Grandpa ( Emory Miles) lived on the farm with her parents until the birth of her first child; DEATH certificate obtained from Cedar Co. Iowa. Grandma's nickname was "Mamie", and all the members of her family and her nieces and nephews all called her Mamie. Very few if any of the members of her family, outside of her own sisters even knew her middle name was Angelina.

Marriage certificate ( photocopy from page of book) shows Mary to be 16 yrs old and Emery Miles was 22 yrs old when married on January 10, 1900.
