MRS. MARY E. GLENN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Mrs. Mary E. Glenn, aged 78 years, died yesterday morning at 7 o'clock at her home, 701 north Caldwell street, after an illness of about four months.
Funeral services will be conducted at the late residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock, by Rev. Z. E. Barnhardt, pastor of Tryon Street Methodist church. Interment will take place in Elmwood cemetery. The following have been selected to act as pallbearers: J. F. Misenheimer, L. A. Potts, B. S. Kimbrell, W. N. Adams, N. C. White and Fred M. Hall.
Mrs. Glenn was born and raised in Chester, S. C., and she had resided in Charlotte for many years. She had been an active and loyal member of Tryon Street Methodist church for 50 years. She was actively connected with the women's organizations of the church, and was one of the foremost women in Charlotte and the Women's Christian Temperance union.
She leaves three children:
