In his will dated 20 June 1624 William Brett bequeathed £1000 to his wife Mary, and named children Robert, William, Richard, Mary, Elizabeth, Randall, Edward, John, Francis and Benjamin, as well as his brother Richard Brett of Quaynton.. Both his daughters were unmarried. A daughter Margaret died young.
