About Mary C. (Richmond) Urban
Mary C. Urban, Topeka, died at her home Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001. Mrs. Urban worked for Santa Fe Railway Co. and she had been a private secretary for Allis Chalmers.
She was born in Topeka, the daughter of John James and Mary Meagher Richmond.
She graduated from Capital Catholic High School and she attended Clarks School of Business. Mrs. Urban was a member of the auxiliaries to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Urban and Daniel Urban, both of Topeka; two daughters, Kathy Sommers and Lori Arbaiza, both of Topeka; a sister, Marcella Varner, Oskaloosa; nine grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Urban was cremated. No services are scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral home.
