Mary Doris (Benoit) Palmer Caprari, 64, of 102 Furnace St., died Monday morning in North Adams Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness; retired 30 year employee of Cornish Wire Division of General Cable Corp. Williamstown, retired in 1978; a lifelong resident, attended Notre Dame school and was communicant of Notre Dame church; member of Cornish Wire 25-year Club; leaves her husband William S Caprari, two daughters, Mary Ann Robert and Patricia Romeo Palmer, both of North Adams, two sons Richard H W Palmer of Hisperia, Calif., and William J Caprari of North Adams, two sisters Pearl Tatro of Stamford, Vt. and Eunice DiGennero of North Adams, four brothers Clifford and George Benoit both of North Adams, Sidney Benoit of Clarksburg, and Eugene Benoit of Boston, 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; funeral at the church burial in Southview...
