Obituary:

MARY A HEARN CARROLL.
Mary A. Hearn, wife of John Carroll of Redding, died this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas F. Cotter, of 693 Myrtle avenue. Although Mrs. Carroll had been ill, her illness was not considered so serious as that of her husband, who is a patient at the Galen hospital. She had been visiting her daughter, since the removal of Mr. Carroll to the hospital. Mrs. Carroll was born in Ireland, but lived in Redding for the last 53 years, where she was particularly well known.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Cotter, Mrs. Mary A. Malloy, Mrs. Michael E. Casey and Mrs. Martin Flynn; also 16 grand children and one great grand child, all of this city. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Mary O’Keefe of Redding.
