Source: "Stamps Family History and Lineage" by Charles Thomas Stamps claims that Mary "Polly" Stamps is the daughter of William Stamps and Ellinore Brent. However, this may not be entirely accurate. Additional research has revealed that Mary is more likely to have been born Mary "Polly" Hobson (and not the daughter of William Stamps).
