Mary Alma Clark

Wife of Phillip M. Clark Death Claims Mrs. P. N. Clark. Aged Huntsville Woman Will Be Buried Tomorrow Morning. Mrs. Mary Alma Clark, 90-year-old widow of Philip M. Clark, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. S. Harwell, 409 East Clinton Street, at 5:40 o’clock this morning. Mrs. Clark had been ill since last October. Besides Mrs. Harwell, she is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. Mary Steakley, also of Huntsville, Mrs. Sallie Upton, Richardville, Ky., Mrs. Alice Steakley, Columbus, Ga.; two nephews, Carr Overton of Huntsville, and Ambrose Overton of Waycross, Texas. Funeral services will be held from the State Line church at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning with Homer P. Reeves, minister of the Central Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be made there with Laughlin-McCaleb in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers will be W. L. Malone, Sam Bailey, Ed Mitchell, Joe Guscio, John Broadway and Leo Hill. Honorary pallbearers will include Dr. William McKissack and C. L. Lowe, Alvie Ealy, Claude Kenny, Rev. J. T. Wicks, A. S. Graham and Frank Evans, all of Hazel Green. Mrs. Clark was a native of Tennessee. She had resided here the past nine years. She was a member of the Christian church.
