Concerns
John Cowper, II, of Strode in Sussex has date and place of birth have also been (erroneously?) reported to be 1458 at Sharpenhoe, Bedfordshire (now Central Bedfordshire), England - probably due to the notion that John Cooper, of Arlesey in Bedfordshire, rather than John Cowper of Strode, is his father.
Date and place of marriage have also been (erroneously?) reported to be 1478 at Arlesey, Bedfordshire (now Central Bedfordshire), England - probably for the reason cited above.
