I John Adams being of sound minde and memory blessed be to God for his mercys (sic)...Imprimis; I give unto the heirs of sone (sic) Thomas Adams, six shillings each...[to] my beloved wife, Sarah...all the lands which I holde (sic)...[to] my son, William Adams, shall have all the lands adjoining Mark Anthony [up to] the line of the land I made my son, James a Wright (sic)...my will is that all my personal estate shall be sold and the money arising from such sales shall be equally divided amongst my children, herein after named to wit:

• Imprimis; I give to Winnifred Thomas one equal part of such sales;
• ... unto my daughter Polly DALTON one equal part of such sale
• ... unto my daughter Peggy Leftwich one equal part
• ... unto my daughter Sarah Weeks one equal part
• ... also I give unto my son John Adams one equal part
• ... also one equal part unto my daughter Sarah Leftwich
• ... Milly Adams one equal part of such sale
• ... and lastly I hereby constitute my son William Adams and my son
• James Adams my executors to this my last will and testament.
