AGED TUSCOLA RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Mary B. Patterson (Dresback) Had Been in Failing Health for Two Weeks
TUSCOLA. Dec. 21. - Mrs. Mary B. Patterson Dresback, aged 94, widow of Jacob B. Dresback, died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Bell, in Tuscola Friday morning Dec. 18, 1925. Her immediate death was caused by a stroke of paralysis two weeks ago. Until then she enjoyed good health. She was the daughter of Mary Brown and John Patterson and was born in West Union, O., Jan. 11, 1831, being one of a family of 12 children, and the last to survive. She was married to Jacob B. Dresback, Sept. 7, 1852, and left a widow Dec. 17, 1900. The greater part of her life was spent in Paris, whither she came with her husband from Ohio in 1854. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and of the D. A. R. post of Paris. She was the mother of eight children, six of whom are living. The body was taken to Paris Sunday where the funeral will be held Monday morning in the home of Mrs. E. E. Lodge, one of the surviving daughters. Rev. L. E. Lord, of Paris officiating. Burial will be in the Edgar cemetery.
