SPICER (nee Duthy).-Just a token of love to the memory of my dear mother, who died December'21st, 1912. Also dear father, who died March 15, 1897.

CASUALTIES. DEATH BY POISON. The death on Saturday from supposed poisoning of Mary Ann Spicer, who resided at Kensington, was investigated mv Monday at the Justices' Room, Adelaide Police Court, by Dr. R. S. Rogers (Acting Coroner).
Joseph Spicer. butcher, of Kensington, said deceased, his wife, who was 57 years of age, was in poor health, and was always oppressed with presentiments of evil. He last saw her alive on December 21 shortly after 6 o'clock in the morning. She was then complaining of pains in the head and giddiness. He had never heard her threaten to lake her life. A little before 2' o'clock, when he returned from work, he found her fully dressed on the bed. apparently dead, he informed the police, and a neighbour, Mrs. Gibbons, found in the room a note in which deceased stated that she was ending her life. Witness and his wife had always lived on good terms.
Mary Ann Gleeson, a neighbour, said she last saw deceased alive standing on her doorstep, at. about 11 o'clock on December 21.
Constable Constable Garland deposed to having found the lysol.
A verdict of death from poison, self administered, while deceased was of unsound mind,- was returned.
