The 1880 Van Buren County census says that she was 40 and born in RI.Fa ther & mother also from RI. However, on pages 235/236 of volume 2of th e NOYES GENEALOGIES by Col. Henry 1904. Mary was born in Patten,Maine - D aughter of Elisha G. Noyes and Elizabeth Davis. It's in the section of "And all whose Ancestry has not beenDetermined." E lisha & Elizabeth were married in 1832 and he died 22Sept. 1848. Mary h ad a sister, Eunice D. and a brother David. ALLMARRIED BICKFORDS. Much i s written of David's Civil War service.
