Mary was not the daughter of Edward Willett
Edward Willett, clothier of Cirencester, left a will dated 16 January 1675 in which he names wife Bridget, brother-in-law Edward Clutterbuck, sons James, Edward, Thomas, Charles and Richard and daughters Elizabeth an Mary. It is quite clear from the language used in the will that Mary, daughter of Edward Willett and Bridget Clutterbuck, was then resident in England, (when Mary wife of John Farley was in Virginia, married, and having children). Therefore Mary who married to John Farley cannnot be a daughter of Edward Willett and Bridget Clutterbuck (who were, as noted above, of Cirencester, Gloucestershire, and have no known connection to Virginia).
EOL, surname is NOT proven in any known document, it is NOT Willet, or ANY other name. That is a error in the pedigree charts of some people have manipulated the data and added and unknown surname to her.
