About Mary Fowler
Joseph Jones, son of Robert and Joanna (Osgood) Jones was born October 7, 1664 in Salisbury. The inventory of his estate was made in 1689 indicating that he was at that time deceased. He was married before 1689 to Mary Gould, b. June 24,1661, daughter of Nathan and Elizabeth Gould, of Amesbury. Their children were: John, Damaris, Hannah, and Mary. (p. 1791
Jacob, second son and fourth child, of Samuel and Hannah (Worthen) Fowler was born December 10, 1690, in Salisbury, and resided in South Hampton, New Hampshire, where he died December 20, 1752. It is probable that he was among those who found themselves in New Hampshire, after the establishment of the Province line in 1741 that took some territory from Salisbury. His will was proved December 27, 1752 just one week after his death. He was married May 3, 1716 to Mary Jones, daughter of Joseph, and granddaughter of Robert Jones of Amesbury.[1]
