Mary Gaudie

MARY GAUDIE (1806-58)

is the daughter of George Gaudie, farmer, and his wife Jane Irvine [Registrar General for Scotland, New Register House, Edinburgh, Statutory Register of Death for 1858, registration district 13 (Birsay), entry number 6]. DEATH

Mary Gaudie died at How in Marwick, parish of Birsay, Orkney, at midnight on 27 February 1858. Peter Gaudie arranged for her burial in Birsay kirkyard and her husband, John Taylor, reported her death to the local registrar on 5 March 1858 [Registrar General for Scotland, New Register House, Edinburgh, Statutory Register of Death for 18558 registration district 13 (Birsay), entry number 6].
