Mary Gibbs

Mary Winchell was born in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut, about 1683, daughter of Nathaniel2 Winchell (Robert1) and Sarah2 Porter (Dea. Thomas1); she died there after 1753.[1] She married in Windsor 4 March 1702/3, Samuel3 Gibbs (so-called Jr. [Samuel2, Giles1]).[2]

Children of Samuel3 and Mary (Winchell) Gibbs:

1. Samuel4 Gibbs, b. 30 Nov. 1704, d. after 1774 (Samuel5 “Jr." d. Somers 20 May 1775)
2. Giles Gibbs, b. 8 Aug. 1706, d. 28 Oct. 1708
3. (perhaps) Margaret/Margery Gibbs, b. say 1710/1 (m. Joseph Baker 1730/1)
4. Giles Gibbs (again), b. before 1714 (among Windsor petitioners 1734), d. after 1 Oct. 1763 (quitclaim from brother Samuel)
5. Elizabeth Gibbs, b. ca. 1719, d. 28 June 1800, in 82nd year
6. (perhaps) Sarah Gibbs, b. say 1720 (m. Reuben Cooley 1740)
7. Stephen Gibbs, b. probably by 1725, d. between 16 Sept. 1782 (sold a lot at East Windsor) and 10 Feb. 1783 (widow Charity signed his estate inventory)
