About Mary May Goodwin

Zadock Goodwin (John) was married October 15, 1818, at Middleville, Harrison county, by Jesse H. Goss, to Mary Winters, who was born October 10, 1803, in Harrison county, a daughter of Matthias and Martha (Johnson) Winters. By occupation he was a farmer, in politics a Democrat, and in religion a Baptist. They resided on Beards Bun until in 1852, removing in the spring of the year to Lewis county, and in the fall of the same year they moved to Jackson county, where he died June 1, 1855. She died October 21, 1879.
