About Mary Josephine Hageman
Mary Josephine was the daughter of Bernard Heitstuman and Josephine Wendker Heitstuman, one of eight children. She married Henry Hageman in Uniontown WA on Nov. 22 1887. Their adopted daughter Anna (Kramer) Heitstuman joined the couple on Sept. 24, 1894. After Henry's death in 1919, Mary Josephine Hageman moved to Santa Clara CA to be with her daughter (and husband, Ferdinand A. Niggemann). She lived the balance of her life here and is buried at the Catholic cemetery.
