In 1912 Otto married his housekeeper Mary Bethany Pasedaiva CHARLEY who was born C 1885 in Arkansas a widow with two small children, Ruth and Ross Lee Charley.
In 1913 Otto Jr was born in Washington State followed by twins Delbert and Elbert in 1917 Elbert only lived until November 1917.

In the 1920 Census the family including Marybeth's two children Ruth and Ross are back in Kansas at 4214 Booth Avenue, Risedale, Wyandotte, Kansas where Otto's occupation is given as Salesman Stock Yard.
In the 1930 Census the family are in Kansas City, Wyandotte Kansas where Otto's occupation is given as Buyer of Livestock.
