About Mary Laughlin

Mary is the daughter of Aaron Harlan I and Sarah Heald

---
Ben M. Angel notes: Friendsville, her place of death, apparently was settled in the 1790s by Quakers from New Garden Friends Meeting, North Carolina. The first white settlement in the area, at present Maryville, wasn't in place until the 1780s, after the Revolutionary War - the pre-war Watauga Association didn't have settlements in the area. Therefore, I've gone with the alternate 1795 death date, since 1775 wouldn't fit the chronology of the area, and in accordance with her apparent Quaker background.
