Her parents are unknown. The only source for parents are unsourced trees. According to her Find-a-Grave memorial, she was the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Harrison) Chambers[1] The only reference to the surname Chambers is a Sons of the American Revolution application which shows her as "Miss Chambers of Hanover County, Virginia."[2]
According to a genealogy query in 'Heart's Sunday American' of 20 Sep 1931 by Mrs. Hugh A. Haralson (seeking Mary Chamber's parents' names), Mary and Peter had children John, Burgess, Paul, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Agnes, and Sarah. This states that they married circa 1715 in Hanover, Virginia and Peter died in 1732.

Rebekka Mary Chambers was born about 1635 in New Kent County, England, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Harrison) Chambers. Ancestry.com family tree titled Rehfeldt Family Tree-(2) follows Rebekka's line back to the 10th century. She married Peter Harrelson in 1664 in St. Peters, New Kent County, Virginia. Peter was born about 1633 in Denmark. They had the following known children:
1. Paul Peter Harrelson
Rebekka's husband Peter was a Captain of the Danish Army. Rebekka died about 1664 in New Kent County, Virginia. Peter died about 1715 in New Kent County, Virginia. They were both buried in St. Peters Parish cemetery in Putney's Mill, New Kent County, Virginia.
