Mary Harris Harnes

Her last child, Samuel E. Harris, was born in 1852 according to a Family Book "A Southern Branch of the Rose Family" page 372 Compiled by Bonnie Jean Rose Shaw in 1925. This record gives the family of Samuel Harris and Mary Richards (daughter of William Richards of Floyd county, Virginia. There were 10 children listed, 8 of which are on the 1850 census. Some of this family lived in Republic, Greene, Missouri and records of them are found there.
