Her name could be Hart, Hout, or Hoyt. Even if Hoyt, Simon wasn't in Dorset in 1635. However, Simon and Susannah's daughter Mary could have been a Hill of not a Lyon. Luke Hill is listed as buried in the same place. The Connecticut colony didn't exist in 1623, but could be Massachusetts in the 1630s.

Lots of Harts in Connecticut in the mid 1650s. Stephen, John, but with lots of records, no Mary that wasn't taken by someone else.

Mary [Hoyt, Huit, Hart, Hout] was born 1630 in Windsor CT and died 1696 in Simsbury CT. She married Luke Hill (1613-1696) on 6 May 1651 in Windsor CT.

Mary Hoyt, wife of Luke Hill, is believed to be the daughter of Simon Hoyt, although several references list her husband as Thomas Lyon, with children's birthdates that overlap those of Luke Hill. The spelling Hoyt is used in the Stiles' History of Windsor and Savage's A Genealogical Dictionary of The First Settlers of New England, but she and her father are referred to in various other sources as Hout, Huit, Haight, Hait, and Hart. The variety of spellings could have been the result of either orthographic errors or confusion in the pronunciation.
