Mary Caroline Musser

Mary Hill Musser was born March 21, 1874, in Millcreek, Utah, to parents William H. Hill, who was born in Canada, and Mary C. Sorenson, who was born in Denmark.

She married Saint Joseph White Musser, March 13, 1902, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She had at least one child, Guy Hill Musser, who was born in 1910 and died in 1983. I don't know if he is the child pictured with her above. This photo was found on Find A Grave.com.

At the time of her death, Mary lived at 4204 South 5th East Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her death certificate said she had been a resident of the city where she died for 56 years.

At the time of her death from breast cancer, she was 56 years, 7 months and 18 days old. Mary died on November 9, 1920, and her doctor stated he had attended her from November 1-9, 1930. Her body was taken from the hospital by Deseret Mortuary and was buried in Mill creek cemetery on November 12, 1930. The name of the informant on her death certificate was a J.W. Musser, her husband.

D. S. church Wednesday at 1 p.m. Mrs. Musser was born March 21, 1874, the daughter of William H. Hill and Mary Sorensen Hill, early settlers in the Mill Creek district.
