Mary Ann Wilhelmina Howard was in the Middelburg Concentration Camp during the Second Anglo-Boer War along with her mother and siblings. Mary entered the Camp aged 22 years old on 3 June 1901; she departed the Camp on 5 April 1902 for Wentworth.
