Mary Hunt

Jonathan and Mary had the following children:

- Sarah Hunt was born circa 1738. She married Thomas Bryan. She married Rev. John Gano in 1792.

- Jonathan Hunt was born circa 1738. He married Rachel Hampton on 7 Aug 1769.

- Andrew Hunt was born circa 1740. He married Lucy Giles on 27 Sep 1764 at Rowan, North Carolina.

- Charles Hunt was born in 1742 at Hopewell, Hunterdon, New Jersey. He married Francina Smith circa 1765.

- John Hunt was born on 19 Sep 1748. He married Margaret Wilson in 1774.

- Wilson Hunt was born on 16 Jan 1754. He married _____ Burns, daughter of Jacob Burns. He married _____ Bryan. He married Margaret Shotwel, daughter of Jasper Shotwell and Clara Line, in 1793. (mclaire1999@yahoo.com is descended from Wilson)

- Levi Hunt (twin) was born on 12 Mar 1757. He married Rachel Dean on 11 Dec 1784. He died on 14 Jul 1830 at age 73.

- Agnes Hunt (twin) was born on 12 Mar 1757. She died on 27 Oct 1782 at age 25.

MARY SMITH was born on September 14, 1720, in Hopewell, Hunderdon County, New Jersey, the daughter of Andrew and Sarah (Stout) Smith. In about 1737 Mary married JONATHAN HUNT in Hopewell, New Jersey. Mary and Jonathan had eight children, including twins Levi and Agnes, born on March 12, 1757 along the Yadkin River in Rowan County, North Carolina. Mary apparently died from complications from childbirth as she died on March 23, 1757, eleven days after the birth of the twins.
