Mary Natt was baptized at Saint Savior, Dartmouth, co. Devon, England, on 27 May 1650 (perhaps).1 She was the daughter of John Natt.1 Mary Natt married at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, circa 1674, perhaps George Huntress, son of George Huntress and Thomasen Mills.2

Before marriage her name was Mary Natt, Nott, Knat or Knott.3 She came to America perhaps as early as 1669.4 In 1675 Mary Hunt, about 27 years of age, deposed to a theft of cheese from "our house" by Samuel Clark. Thereupon a warrant issued for stealing from George Hunt.5 Clark was convicted. His deposition in the case states that Mary Hunt was formerly servant to Capt. Cutt. The next year Clark complained of Mary Huntress. The complaint was dismissed and George Huntress had his bill of cost allowed against Clark.6.7
