She did not marry James Pigg. See the thread in the Discussion section for more info.

Ansel has a sister Eleanor who was also born out of wedlock. I have no evidence that Pigg was her father too, but it seems likely.

Mary Jarrell was also known as Polly Jarrell. She was born in 1784 at North Carolina. She was the daughter of William Jarrell and Susannah Parks.

There is DNA evidence that Ansel Jarrell and Eleanor Nellie (Jarrell) Conn were siblings. According to Gedmatch, a great-great-granddaughter of Ansel Jarrell and a great-great-grandson of Nellie Conn share 3 setgments of DNA totalling 66.1cM (2 segments on Chromosome 6 and 1 on Chromosome 18). This is a 4th cousin relationship according to Geni, and Gedmatch estimates 3.9 generations to the most recent common ancestor (Mary Polly Jarrell and her unknown spouse or partner).
The 1850 census lists Mary Jarrell (age 63) living in the household of Ansel Jarrell (age 25) in Floyd County, Kentucky. The next entry is for William B. Frazier who later become Ansel's father-in-law - apparently they were neighbors.
The 1860 census lists Mary Jarrell (age 74) living in the household of Ansel Jarrell and his wife and children. She does not appear on the 1870 census.
Per Familysearch note about Mary's daughter Eleanor (Nellie) at https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LT66-9P8 "Her marriage record states her mother is Polly Jarrell and she has no legal father. She was underage in 1840 and her mother gave permission for her to marry."
It is not clear whether Mary's children Ansel and Eleanor are twins. The census reports give inconsistent birth years for them which is typical for the period, but more often than not it works out to 1820 for both of them.
