About Mary L Jeter
GEDCOM Note
Many copied trees for this woman list parents who aren't hers. Check her Find-a-Grave. The Mary who was the wife of Joseph Jeter is NOT the daughter of Sterling Edmonds of Brunswick County, VA. She wasn't born in South Carolina and didn't die in 1840.Sterling's daughter was born after 1774 and married Allan Love in 1798. She is listed in Sterling's will and Allan Love was one of the executors. Sterling's daughter died in Brunswick before 26 Jan 1824 when her will was proved.Ask the person you copied from for documentation and see if they even respond.Good luck. (Comment by Shirley Edmonds)
