Winona Republican-Herald, Thursday, October 16, 1919: JOSEPH MEYER IS TAKEN BY DEATH
Joseph Meyer, aged eighty years, died at his home, 910 East Sanborn street, yesterday morning. He is survived by his wife, two sons, John and Walter, and two daughters, Mrs. B.F. Stolpa and Mrs. Mat Kulas. Services will be conducted Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Stanislaus church, the Rt Rev J. W. J. Pacholski officiating Interment will be In St. Mary's cemetery.

Winona Republican-Herald, Monday, October 04, 1926: Mrs. Josephine Mlers Dies.
Mrs. Josephine Miers, 91, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Matthew Kulas, 667 East Second street. She is survived by two sons, Max and Anton, of Seattle, Wash., and two daughters, Mrs. M. Kulas and Mrs. Bernard Stolpa, both of Winona. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9. a. m. at St. Stanislaus church with Father Pacholskl officiating. Burial will be In St. Mary's cemetery.
