Mary Lynn Crisco

Mary Lynn Crisco (Fox), age 72, of Wild Rose, WI passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, Waukesha County, WI. She was born March 21, 1946 in Wakefield, Gogebic County, Michigan, the daughter of John Patrick and Mary Ann (VandeLoo) Fox.
She was a graduate (BA) of St. Mary's University (Milwaukee, WI) and later received a Master's Degree in Social Work/Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She was the first Social Worker hired by the Midwest Children's Cancer Center at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI). She later worked for United Heath Care and other Mental Health Clinics in Wisconsin as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
On 03/20/1982 she married James Jeffrey "Jeff" Crisco, Ph.D. and for years they resided in Whitefish Bay, WI. In 2010 they moved permanently to their lake home in Waushara County, Wisconsin. Mary Lynn was an avid reader and enjoyed fiction and non-fiction books. She loved to tent camp and take long walks or ride her bicycle in the countryside. She was a volunteer at the Waushara County Food Pantry for many years. She was a loving wife and mother. She sought simplicity in her life and was humble. She loved deeply and was always thankful. She is survived by her husband (J. Jeffrey Crisco, Ph.D.). a son, Andrew (Monica) Crisco, Psy.D., a daughter, Emily (Christopher) Zanoni, a step-daughter, Rebecca DeBruin-Crisco and four grandchildren, Adrik J. Sharon, Cade M.Sharon, Sander J.Crisco and Evelyn M. Zanoni. Also surviving are a brother, Thomas (Roberta) Fox and a sister, Ann Fox.

There was a private family viewing and no funeral services. Mary Lynn was cremated and her ashes will be buried at Howes Corners Cemetery in rural Mount Morris, Waushara County, WI.
