MacKINNON, Mary Harris - 95, Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of 454 Merigomish Rd., New Glasgow, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, September 10, 2003, in the villa.

Born in Mountville, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Harris (MacDonald) Green. She was a member of Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church, life member of A.M.S. and Ladies Aid. She was also a member of MacDonald Rebekah Lodge No. 108, Sunnybrae and Past Noble Grands Club, New Glasgow.

She is survived by son, Lloyd (Helen), Port Colborne Ont.; daughter, Ruth (Wayne) Hopkins, Pictou Landing; grandchildren, Allan MacKinnon, Richard (Leigh) MacKinnon, Marilyn Hopkins (Neil Dykens), Rob (Linda) Hopkins, Cathy Oliver; great-grandchildren, Mike Hopkins, Richard, Alexander, Ian MacKinnon; son-in-law, Mel Oliver, New Glasgow; brother, Bill, Liverpool; sisters-in-law, Eileen and Grace Green, New Glasgow; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilburn; daughter, Norma Oliver; infant son, Alexander; sister, Norma Diggins; brothers, Walter, Stanley, Harry, Arnold, Leslie.

Visitation 3-5 and 7-9 p.m today in R.H.Porter Funeral Home New Glasgow. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday in Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Rev. Richard Sand officiating. Burial in Sunnybrae cemetery.
