Some comments you might find helpful. Yes, I called Mary Elizabeth 'Lizzie', but only because Dad used to refer to her only as Aunt Lizzie. (from rajkot@xtra.co.nz via yahoo.com to: Ray Mankelow <ray.mankelow@gmail.com> date: Jul 27, 2014, 5:30 PM) I see that Mary Elizabeth M is on the website as date of death May 1939. However, I have it as 28 June 1939, based on the headstone of her younger half-brother Noble. He died on 26 June 1939 and Dad talked several times about how they all went to Noble's funeral in Inglewood 2 days later. Mary Elizabeth was a bit crook and could not come, so they went to see her in New Plymouth only to learn that she had died effectively during the funeral ! (Her own, and Henry's, headstone was no help because it only has her year of birth and death.)
