Some Ancestry trees have Bessy Cane as a first daughter, born in 1854. The issue with that is that Mary and Edward didn't get married until 1859 in Canada. Also, the 1861 Census for Edward and Mary only lists their first son, aged 2: Charles E. Marrow.... no Bessie..
