Mary Ann Maxey

Mary Ann "Molly" Larimore Scott Maxey was the daughter of Rev. James Larimore & Patsy Martha Benningfield. She was born February 12, 1813 in Green County Kentucky. She moved with her parents to Washington County Arkansas about 1817. In February 1831, she married Joseph S. Scott and had the children James Washington Scott, Daughter Scott, William Nimrod Scott, and Joseph Marion Scott. In 1850, Joseph S. Scott died and she married William Chambers Maxey February 6, 1855 in Washington County Arkansas. They had one known daughter, Mary B. Maxey born in Franklin County Arkansas. Molly died August 29, 1877 in Franklin County Arkansas. Inscription: "In Memory of" "Aged 62 yrs, 6 ms, 14 ds" "Where immortal spirits reign, There we shall meet again"
