Mary Frances McReynolds

MARY FRANCIS (McREYNOLDS) HUMBERT Mary, known by her middle name, Francis, was the daughter of Francis (Fleming) and Robert McReynolds. She was born in Tenn but grew up in Fountain County, Indiana.

in 1827 she was married to Emanuel M Humbert, to this union were born 11 Children John Fleming (1827-1838), Joseph Richard (1829-1863), Robert Clinton (1831-1898), Mary Angeline (1833-1924), Frances Carling (1835-1836), Elizabeth Emaline (1837-1917), James Oliver (1838-1908), Randolph (1841-1919), Martha A (1842-1910), William W (1845-1865), Lucinda Jane (1848-1944).

In the 1850 census the family is living in Troy Township, Fountain County, Indiana. Emanuel Humbert is listed as Head of household 48 Farmer, Francis wife 41, Joseph son 21 Farmer, Mary A daugh 16, Elizabeth E daugh 13, James O son 11, Randolph son 9, Martha A daugh 7, William W son 5 and Lucinda J daugh 2. The census was taken on Oct 2, sadly Francis dies just 20 days later. She was buried on the family farm in Indiana.
