Mary Jane Melton

Mary Jane Shore was a Daughter of Anderson D. Shore and Mary Jane Russell.

She married Walter Anderson Melton 13 January 1884 in Yadkin County, North Carolina.

Note: Although her death certificate shows her date of birth as 29 May 1876, the tombstone inscription shows 1865, which is more accurate. Had she been born in 1876, she would have been only 7 years old when she married!

Burial in Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Yadkinville, NC.
